Joanna Going Workout Routine

Joanna Going

It was in 1986 when actress Joanna Going started acting professionally. She debuted on the show Search for Tomorrow. She next starred as Lisa Grady on the soap opera Another World. In 1991, she portrayed Victoria Winters / Josette du Pres on the short-lived series Dark Shadows. After this ended, she starred as Kathleen McDermott on the drama series Going to Extremes. Soon, she made her big screen debut as Josephine Marcus in the movie Wyatt Earp.

The rest of the ’90s saw her perform in the films How to Make an American Quilt, Little City, Inventing the Abbotts, Commandments, and Phantoms, among others. The following decade, she mostly had guest appearances on television and a few roles on the big screen such as in Runaway Jury. In 2014, she played First Lady Tricia Walker on Netflix’s House of Cards. She next starred as Christina Kulina on the drama series Kingdom, which she played until 2017. Also in the 2010s, she had roles in the movies The Tree of Life and Love & Mercy. Her latest works were as a guest star on Law & Order: SVU and Good Behavior.

Aside from her clean diet plan, Joanna Going also stays sexy and fit by keeping herself active. Interestingly, she’s really not into gyms or doing outdoor exercises. However, she loves yoga and Pilates. She said: “I’m definitely not what you’d call athletic—I generally hate running and jumping. I have worked with trainers at different times in my life with weights and machines, but I much prefer the Pilates and yoga I’ve done for years.”

She went on to say: “In the last year, I have, to my surprise, become very enamored of hot yoga. I never believed I could hack it, but a friend dragged me into MODO YOGA in LA one day and now I’m an addict. I love that it’s a workout, detox, meditation and relaxation all rolled into one.”
