English singer-songwriter Adele is an international sensation beginning with her debut album 19. The first song in the album was called “Hometown Glory”. Performing on Saturday Night Live in 2008 further her career and introduced her to a wider audience in the US. Her second album was 21, which became more successful than her debut. It spawned the hit singles “Rolling in the Deep”, “Someone like You”, and “Set Fire to the Rain”. The album also won her numerous awards including the Grammys. Her third album 25 was next released with the lead song “Hello”. It has spawned other hit songs such as “When We Were Young” and “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)”.

Not only is singer Adele getting more famous each day thanks to her breathtaking songs, but her physical transformation throughout the years is also remarkable. Ever her since her beginnings in 2008, it can be noticed that Adele is half the size in the present. Though she hasn’t revealed the exact number of the pounds she has shed, it’s been reported to be around 30 pounds. With her slimmed down body, fans wonder what Adele’s secret could be to trim down her pounds. Earlier in her career she was noted for saying how she didn’t want to lose weight just because people told her to. She also said she’s here to make music and not to pose on Playboy.

It was reported that the Grammy-winning singer practiced The Sirtfood Diet, which is all about consuming plant-based foods like kale, buckwheat, green tea and tumeric. Adele also admitted to giving up her indulgence – sugary tea. She said in an interview: “I used to drink 10 cups a day with two sugars in each so I was on 20 sugars a day. Now I don’t drink it and I have more energy than ever.” But now that she’s slimmer, she also said it led her to shop even more. She said: “Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes. It’s really a big problem for me.”
