Denyse Tontz was born on September 17, 1994 in San Diego, California, United States. Prior to her acting career, she first worked as a child model. She became the face of Barbie in the UK. In 2006, she made her acting debut in an episode of the TV series E-Ring. The following year, she made her first film role in The Last Day of Summer. She next had roles in the movies Dog Gone and The Perfect Sleep.
From 2009 to 2013, she played the recurring character of Jennifer Woods in the musical comedy series Big Time Rush. She later had guest roles in The Nine Lives of Chloe King, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, and Shake It Up. From 2012 to 2014, she played Nikki Ortiz in Dog with a Blog. Also, Tontz starred as Miranda Montgomery in All My Children. She went on to play Cortney Strathmore in The Fosters. Recently, she starred as Alicia Mendoza in the TV show Grand Hotel.
