Biography:

Alexander Dreymon was born on 7 February 1983 in Germany. He attended Drama Centre London where he trained in acting. He initially had performances on stage productions. In 2011, he made his screen debut in the BBC television film Christopher and His Kind. That same year, he also appeared in the Italian thriller movie The Last Fashion Show, as well as in the Welsh movie Resistance.

In 2013, he appeared as Luke Ramsey in an episode of American Horror Story: Coven. He next starred in the American independent film Blood Ransom. His breakthrough role was as Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the BBC America series The Last Kingdom, a role he has been playing since 2015. Dreymon also recently starred in the 2020 film Horizon Line.
