Canadian star Vinessa Antoine had her career beginnings in the 1990s where she first acted in a short film. She next had her first television appearance in the television movie Annie O. Shortly after, she made her movie debut in the 1999 feature film Picture This. Come 2000s, she played Monica, a recurring character in the drama series Soul Food. T

The rest of the decade saw her make one-time roles in The Unit and ReGenesis. In 2011, Antoine starred as Evidence ‘Evi’ Ryan in the supernatural-drama Haven. During this period, the actress also gained recognition for her starring role as Judith Winter in the comedy-drama show Being Erica. She also had a recurring part as Nicole in the long-running series Heartland.

But her biggest role on television to date was as Jordan Ashford in the medical soap opera General Hospital. She was part of the series’ main cast from 2014 to 2018. While on the program, she also starred in the TV movie A Day Late and a Dollar Short. After a guest role in NCIS, Antoine starred as the lead role Marcie Diggs in the Canadian series Diggstown, a role she still plays up to present.

Vinessa Antoine takes care of her body by focusing on nutrient-rich foods. “For breakfast, I like something hearty: oatmeal or a smoothie or a couple of eggs — something that will fill me up,” shared the actress. Smoothies are also her go-to snacks to fuel up her body. ” I do frozen bananas to get the consistency right, almond milk, some type of yogurt, and frozen berries and a scoop of protein [powder]. I try to sneak in some greens, like a handful of spinach so that I don’t really taste it,” said Antoine. For lunch and dinner, she tries to keep it balanced with a protein-rich meal and a salad. She also loves salmon for dinner.
