It was in 2005 that actor Michael Trevino had started his career in the show business. During this year, he appeared in the television shows Summerland, Charmed, and Commander in Chief. The following year, he had a role in the made-for-television movie Cow Belles. From 20007 to 2008, he appeared as Brent in 5 episodes of The Riches. He later played Jaime Vega in the TV show Cane, as well as played Ozzie Cardoza in 3 episodes of 90210.

It was in 2009 that he got his break on the small screen in the character of Tyler Lockwood in The Vampire Diaries. He was part of the main cast from seasons 1-6. He then returned as a recurring character from seasons 7-8. He also reprised his role in the spin-off The Originals. Meanwhile, he also began a film career. His first movie role was in 2011’s The Factory. This year, he starred in the Chinese film Out of Control.

Looking at him, it’s obvious that he has a rocking bod. Of course, he achieved his current physique through proper nutrition and active lifestyle. He continues to eat right and work out not only to maintain his body but to also sustain his good health. How does he do this? In an interview, he talked about his workout routine. He said: “I stay in shape and go to the gym regularly. So I just upped my cardio a bit.”

For his role in The Vampire Diaries, he revealed that he changed his workout routine to obtain substantial physical transformation. In achieving this, he said: “I upped it a bit. Probably a little bit of extra cardio.” As for his remarkable abs, the actor performs crunches daily to maintain it. When asked how many he does to keep his abs in shape, he said: “I don’t know. I don’t really keep count. Let’s just say a hundred. Yep. A hundred sounds good.”
