Indian celebrity Yami Gautam has built her career in both Hindi and Telugu films. She has also worked in other parts of the Indian cinema. She made her acting debut on the television series Chand Ke Paar Chalo. Her first movie was in the Kannada film Ullasa Utsaha. She next starred in the Punjabi feature Ek Noor and then in the Telugu film Nuvvila. She then made her Bollywood debut in Vicky Donor. For this, she got a Best Female Debut nomination at the Filmfare. She became more active in the Hindi cinema in the 2010s. She starred in Total Siyappa, Action Jackson, and Badlapur. Her latest films are Sanam Re and Junooniyat. She also recently starred in the Tamil movie Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum.

The 28-year-old actress sustains her slender figure and overall healthy through healthy living. She regularly eats right and works out as well. She acknowledges the significance of proper nutrition to not only maintain her healthy weight, but to also boost her mental wellness. Also, she knows that by eating healthy she makes herself more energetic. This is something that she needs in order to be productive in her work as an actress. By being a healthy eater, she gets to work long hours.

In an interview, when asked about her beauty principle, she said: “I’m a believer in home-made recipes and concoctions, so I stick to natural or herbal products as much as I can. I also meditate regularly to de-stress.” As for her diet, she added: “I start my day with fresh pomegranate juice on an empty stomach to detoxify my system. For breakfast, I have an egg-white sandwich, a banana shake and almonds. Before lunch I have a mini meal of fruit, to keep my metabolism going; and dal, vegetables or chicken curry with chapati, curd and cucumber salad for lunch. My evening snack is a brown-bread sandwich or homemade bhel, followed by grilled fish for dinner.”
