Biography:

Sumona Chakravarti was born on June 24, 1988 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her acting career started as a child actress in the 1999 film Mann. That same year, she appeared in the movie Vidyarthi.

She then ventured into television, landing a role in the serial Kasamh Se. She has since appeared in other shows including Sun Yaar Chill Maar, Kasturi, Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, Sapnon Se Bhare Naina, and Khotey Sikkey.

She currently appears in the television drama Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and the comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil. In 2010, she made her film debut as an adult with the feature Aakhari Decision.
