Spanish actress Penélope Cruz began her career as a model during her teenage years. Because of her fierceness, talent for performing, and strong screen presence, it wasn’t surprising that she also became an actress, something she started when she was 16. Her performance in the acclaimed Spanish movie Jamón Jamón brought her significant attention. After more amazing performances in several Spanish films, she ultimately entered Hollywood with a role in The Hi-Lo Country (1998) and got recognition for roles in All the Pretty Horses, Woman on Top, and Blow.

Further success in Hollywood came in the 2000s with her memorable performances in Vanilla Sky, Waking Up in Reno, Head in the Clouds, and Bandidas. She also proved her talent as an actress when she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). Prior to that, she had already been nominated for an Oscar, this time for Best Actress for her performance in Volver (2006). She went on to have another Oscar nomination for her role in Nine (2009). She also had a starring role in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011).

Being a Spanish beauty, it was easy for Penélope to get noticed in Hollywood. Even when she was younger, she was already known for her sex appeal courtesy of her remarkable face and curvaceous figure, which she maintains through healthy lifestyle. Aside from working out, the award-winning actress also eats right as a way of taking care of herself in and out. Interestingly, even now that she’s a mother of two, she’s not pressured by her post-mom weight. Unlike other celebrities who immediately undergo a weight loss program after giving birth, Penélope understands that she has to let her body recover on its own, the natural way.

Her diet plan after giving birth to her second child mainly consists of green and leafy veggies, nuts, seeds, lean proteins, and beans. Of course, she’s also into lean proteins so she suffices her body’s need for such nutrients through eating fish and lean chicken. In this way, she guarantees she looks sexy and fabulous without depriving her body of nutritious foods.
