Biography:

Roselyn Sánchez was born on April 2, 1973 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She attended University of Puerto Rico where she studied marketing, but did not finish the degree to move to New York City.

She then returned to Puerto Rico in 1992 where she made her film debut with a small role in the movie Captain Ron. She went on to gain worldwide recognition after being cast as Isabella Molina in Rush Hour 2.

In 2003, she starred as Lorena in the film Chasing Papi. She has since appeared in several other films including Larceny, Underclassman, Cayo, and Edison, to name a few.
