Meredith Monroe was born on December 30, 1969 in Houston, Texas, USA. She relocated to New York after high school to become a model. This resulted to landing jobs on TV commercials and print ads. Soon she ventured into acting, debuting in an episode of Dangerous Minds. She next appeared in some episodes of Sunset Beach.
Her first notable role was as Andie McPhee in the popular series Dawson’s Creek. While on the show, she appeared in the films The Year That Trembled, New Best Friend, and Minority Report. She also portrayed the title role in the TV movie Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder and its sequel Beyond the Prairie, Part 2: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder. She went on to play Haley Hotchner in Criminal Minds. In 2018, she played Carolyn Standall in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why.
