Hollywood actress Karrueche Tran had her career beginnings in the 2010s. Initially, she became known for her romantic involvement with singer Chris Brown. She made her debut as herself in the TV movie RIP The Runway. At the same time, she also started playing the role of Vivian Johnson in the television series The Bay. She still plays the role up to present. She then made her first movie appearance in 3-Headed Shark Attack. She later guest-starred in the shows Single Ladies and Relationship Status. She also starred in the independent films Only for One Night, Welcome to Willits, and Never Heard. In 2017, she started playing the starring role of Virginia in the new series Claws.

Karrueche Tran revealed that she prepared for her role in the show Claws in terms of her physique. This means she trained for her role so that her body fits into the character’s physical appearance. This also constituted lots of training for her. Talking about her role on the show and the changes she needed to work on, she said: “Virginia comes from the strip club, so she has muscle from dancing.” With this, she started working with a trainer to focus on her abs and butt. The goal was to flatten her stomach and tone her buttocks.

She said: “We wanted to build the booty up and make my stomach flat. But I didn’t want to be perfect—we’re all real women. We’re not perfect. I worked hard, but I wanted to look realistic.” The actress also revealed that she was not originally interested in exercising but it’s a different story now. She went on to say: “I wasn’t into training or working out before this. Now I like squats; I like working with the resistance bands. I really like working with someone one-on-one—my trainer kicks my butt!”
