Biography:

Eric Bana was born on August 9, 1968 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He first gained notice as a comedian in the sketch comedy show Full Frontal before gaining critical acclaim in the film Chopper, winning the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

In 2001, he earned Hollywood’s attention for his performance in Black Hawk Down. His fame continued when he starred in Ang Lee’s film Hulk, playing the lead as Bruce Banner.

He has since starred in other well-known films including Troy, Munich, Star Trek, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Funny People and Hanna, among others.
