Andrew Scott is an Irish actor. He’s been acting professionally since the 1990s. He debuted in the 1995 film Korea. He later appeared with a small role in the Hollywood film Saving Private Ryan. In the 2000s, he had roles in the movies Nora, Dead Bodies, and The Duel. He also had performances in the TV films The Quatermass Experiment and Little White Lie. In 2010, he portrayed Paul McCartney in the TV movie Lennon Naked. From 2010 to 2017, he gained mainstream fame for his role as James “Jim” Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes. Scott also starred in the movies Legacy, The Stag, Locke, Pride, Jimmy’s Hall, Spectre, and Victor Frankenstein. He later played Addison Bennett in Alice Through the Looking Glass and Anthony Julius in Denial.
