Biography:
Mark Ruffalo was born on November 22, 1967 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. He moved to Los Angeles, California where he took classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory and co-founded the Orpheus Theatre Company.
He then had minor roles in such films as The Dentist, Safe Men, and Ride with the Devil. His breakthrough was in Kenneth Lonergan’s Oscar-nominated film You Can Count on Me in 2000.
This led to other significant roles in films, including My Life Without Me, In the Cut, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and We Don’t Live Here Anymore.
