Hollywood star Aja Naomi King had her career beginnings in the late 2000s. During this time, she started acting in short films. She later began getting guest roles on the small screen. Her first starring role was as Cassandra Kopelson on the TV series Emily Owens, M.D.. She next appeared as Ali Henslee on the show Black Box. It was, however, her role as Michaela Pratt on How to Get Away with Murder that got her mainstream fame. Simultaneously, she had roles in the films Damsels in Distress, Four, The Rewrite, and The Birth of a Nation. This year, she starred in the movie The Upside.

The 32-year-old actress stays in shape by making efforts to lead a healthy lifestyle. This includes eating a clean and a well-rounded diet. She talked about her ideal food in a day in an interview. She said: “My ideal food day would be a breakfast of two poached eggs, mesclun salad, and toast – and add a Bellini. For lunch, a turkey club sandwich with turkey bacon, fries, and a glass of rosé. For dinner, my father’s spaghetti and turkey meatballs with my mother’s homemade biscuits and an Old Fashioned.”

Aside from practicing a healthy diet, she also practices beauty from inside out by “water, water, and more water – as well as a positive outlook.” She also admitted to having a sweet tooth. She said: “I like my coffee sweet; I have a major sweet tooth. I typically enjoy getting a regular coffee and loading it up with cream and sugar – but I never finish a full cup. I’m really good at leaving half cups of coffee around everywhere.” Despite this, she tries her best to consume sugary products in moderation. She also integrates fruits and veggies into her meals. Because she’s cautious of what she eats, it’s no wonder the actress maintains her slender and fit body.
