Virginie Ledoyen is a French actress. She had her career beginnings in the 1980s. She debuted in the French-Italian film Exploits of a Young Don Juan. In the 1990s, she had roles in several French films. She later had performances in the movies Les Marmottes, Cold Water, and A Single Girl. For her roles in these films, she was nominated for César Award for Most Promising Actress. In the 2000s, she had her Hollywood debut starring as Françoise in Danny Boyle’s The Beach. She then portrayed Cosette in the miniseries Les Misérables. Afterward, she had roles in several French features.
