Biography:

Sagarika Ghatge was born on January 8, 1986 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. Her acting career started in 2007 with her debut in the Bollywood feature Chak De! India, where she played the role of Preeti Sabarwal.

For her performance in the film, she earned the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress and was recognized with a Lions Gold Award as well. Her next film was the 2009 movie Fox, in which she portrayed the part of Urvashi Mathur.

She then starred as Kamiah in the 2011 picture Miley Naa Miley Hum, followed by her role as Ahana Sharma in Rush. In 2013, she landed her first lead role in the movie Premachi Goshta.
