She again won the Filmfare for Best Actress for her performances in The Dirty Picture and Kahaani.

The 38-year-old actress may not have the traditional slender physique, but she is strong and healthy with her curvaceous figure. Her fans would know that the actress transformed her figure from being heavy to her now slimmer look. She lost weight and she now works just as hard to maintain her now healthy figure. Speaking about fitness, she said: “Very important, because it makes me feel fine. I work out four to five times a week with my trainer Vilayat Hussain. I eat every two hours. I sleep for eight hours. I have lots of water. I pray to keep calm. Most importantly, I have a smile on my face.”

Her fitness regime? The actress said: “I workout at home. I don’t have a gym but I use light weights. I do calisthenics, which is basically using your own body weight, like you do in yoga, to strengthen your core. I also do a bit of cardio. I have been doing this for a year and it has shown unbelievable results.” Plus, the award-winning actress is proud of her curves, saying: “As Indian women, we have a beautiful body type. And I believe in the celebration of curves.”
