It was in 2003 that Hollywood star Torrey DeVitto started her acting career. She made her debut with a minor role in Dawson’s Creek. She next appeared in three episodes of Drake & Josh. She ultimately landed her first starring role on the small screen. This was as Karen Kerr in Beautiful People. She gained wider notice after landing the role of Carrie in One Tree Hill. Her next role was as Melissa Hastings in Pretty Little Liars. She next played Dr. Meredith Fell in THe Vampire Diaries. She next joined the main cast of the short-lived series Army Wives. As of 2015, she stars as Dr. Natalie Manning in the TV series Chicago Med. As a movie star, she’s had roles in Starcrossed, I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer and Killer Movie.

The 33-year-old actress stays in shape by living an active lifestyle. She does not only eat well, she also works out on a regular basis. In an interview, she got candid about her fitness routine. She said: “I used to be really into Pilates and hot yoga. I have a friend whose fiance is really into CrossFit, and right around the time when I learned that, I had watched the movie Warrior. I was inspired to try CrossFit myself! I’ve been going three times a week for the past month and love it. It’s so much fun, almost like a relay, and is always different.”

She added: “I’m so much stronger already. My other fitness hobby is hula hoop dancing! After seeing a photo of a friend doing it on Facebook, I asked my mom for a Hoopnotica kit for Christmas. The hoop came with a DVD and I learned every move. I’d say I do it for an hour a day. Sometimes I just hoop along to music on YouTube, other times I take it to the park. I’d never been as sore in my life as I was when I was learning how to use the hoop.”
