American actress Rosario Dawson had her career beginnings in the 1990s. During her early years, she appeared in the films Kids, Side Streets, and Light It Up. Her career became more active in the 2000s, starring in the movies Josie and the Pussycats, Men in Black II, and Alexander. She continued her prolific career with performances in the films Sin City, Death Proof, Eagle Eye, and Seven Pounds. In the 2010s, she starred in the movies Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Zookeeper, and César Chávez. She also reprised her role as Gail in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Presently, she’s known for her role as Claire Temple in the Marvel shows Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.

The 38-year-old actress stays in shape by taking care of herself. She does so by eating healthy. Talking about her eating habits, she said: “My mom was practicing vegan and raw diets years ago, so I understood eating healthy at a young age. We even belonged to the local co-op. I mean, we had Spam too, because we were poor and had to take whatever we could get, but we stopped eating white bread when I was 6.”

In the present, she decides what she wants to eat. She said: “Whether it craves fresh vegetables or foie gras, nothing makes me feel better than having something I really enjoy. I’m great at salads because I love chopping things up, but I also enjoy making dishes like lasagna and coconut rice with pork chops.” She also indulges herself in some treats every now and then, like a glass of wine or some dessert. She explained: “The stress you put yourself through for having a treat is probably a thousand times worse for you than the sugar you just had.”
