Sushant Singh Rajput is an Indian actor. He started his professional acting career in the late 2000s. He debuted on television, starring on the drama series Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil from 2008 to 2009. He next joined on the reality shows Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. Between 2009 and 2011, he also starred on the soap opera Pavitra Rishta.
Later in 2013, the actor made his cinematic debut in the Bollywood film Kai Po Che! For this, he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He next had roles in the films Shuddh Desi Romance, PK, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. In 2016, he portrayed Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. His performance here got him a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actor. This year, he starred in the films Sonchiriya, Chhichhore, and Drive.
