Shea Whigham is an American actor. He had his career beginnings in the late 1990s where he first debuted in the TV series Ghost Stories. In 1998, he made his film debut in Of Love & Fantasy. In the 2000s, he had appearances in the films Tigerland, All the Real Girls, Man of the House, Lords of Dogtown, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Pride and Glory, Splinter, and Blood Creek. He then starred as Agent Michael Stasiak in 2009’s Fast & Furious.

He reprised the role in the 2013 sequel Fast & Furious 6. Other roles in the 2010s include Savages, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, The Wolf of Wall Street, Non-Stop, Knight of Cups, and Kong: Skull Island. More recently, he starred in Sicario: Day of the Soldado and portrayed Gus Grissom in First Man. This year, he played Detective Burke in 2019’s Joker. On TV, he’s best known for his role as Elias “Eli” Thompson in Boardwalk Empire.
