Biography:

Sean Bean was born on April 17, 1959 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, UK. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after he received a scholarship and graduated in 1983.

He later made his acting debut as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury and appeared in his first feature film, the 1986 movie Caravaggio.

In 2001, he gained worldwide fame after being cast as Boromir in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He is also well-known for his role as Eddard Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
