Actor Pablo Schreiber first appeared as Todd in the 2001 film Bubble Boy. He then landed roles in such films as The Mudge Boy, The Manchurian Candidate, and Lords of Dogtown. During this period, he gained recognition for his role as Nickolas “Nick” Sobotka in the HBO series The Wire. He later played supporting roles in the movies Quid Pro Quo, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and Nights in Rodanthe, among others. In the 2010s, he appeared as William Lewis in several episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Other recurring parts were as Jason Konkey in Dirt, Tim in Army Wives, and Tal Feigenbaum in Numbers. In 2011, he starred as Johnny Leary in the short-lived television series Lights Out. He became further known for playing the role of Demetri Ravitch in Weeds. After this, he joined the main cast of the show A Gifted Man as Anton Little Creek. Schreiber went on to enjoy greater stardom thanks to his role as George “Pornstache” Mendez in Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black.

For his work here, he earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Following this, he began starring as Mad Sweeney in the TV series American Gods. He also recently played Neal Logiudice in the web miniseries Defending Jacob. To add, the actor starred in several other movies, including Allegiance, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Den of Thieves, Skyscraper, First Man, and The Devil Has a Name.

Pablo Schreiber had to get ripped for his role in Den of Thieves. In order to achieve this, the actor said he mostly ate and worked out a lot. He also went through extensive military training to prep for his role. “They left the physical side and the workouts to us, I mean with the weapons training, we had extensive military movement, team movement, weapons training boot camp, a couple of weeks before we started shooting,” said the actor.
