American actress, comedian, and writer Kristen Wiig first found her place on Saturday Night Live, which gained her recognition instantly given the show’s popularity. This led her to pursue acting on the big screen, making supporting appearances in Knocked Up, The Brothers Solomon, Ghost Town, and Adventureland. After more roles in various movies, she found success outside Saturday Night Live after co-writing, producing, and starring in Bridesmaids, which was a huge hit. For her work in this film, she was nominated at the Oscars for the Original Screenplay category, as well as a Golden Globe Award for the Lead Actress category. After leaving SNL in 2012, she acted prolifically in the cinema with performances in Welcome to Me, Hateship, Loveship, and The Martian.

Kristen’s current career is profusely generating her attention and praises, which is even not surprising since her great talent as a performer has already been showcased in SNL back in 2005. Naturally, Kristen takes care of herself through regular workouts and healthy eating habits. For one, she’s a vegetarian so she mostly eats tofu and soy, which of course are great for the body. She drinks lots of water and is very fond of cranberry juice. When it comes to her cravings, she said she has a cheat day per week since she believes that depriving yourself makes you splurge more. In order to avoid that, she indulges in anything she wants to eat once a week.

She said: “I do have a splurge day once a week when I can eat whatever I want. It’s good, because it helps you stay on track the rest of the week. In the beginning, I ate anything I could see. But it’s funny: The more you do it, the less you end up splurging.” When she splurges, she mostly has Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms, lemon cupcakes, hot, melted cheesy sandwiches, and sweet potato fries.
