Biography:

Max Greenfield was born on September 4, 1980 in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He began his acting career in 2000, appearing as Victor in a few episodes of the television series Undressed. This was followed by guest roles in Gilmore Girls and Boston Public. In the mid 2000s, he became known for his role as Leo in Veronica Mars. Afterwards, he became a main cast on the TV show Modern Men, although it was short-lived.

In the next few years, he played recurring characters in such TV shows as Ugly Betty, Greek, and Raising the Bar. His major acting gig came in the 2010s after landing the role of Schmidt in New Girl, a role he still plays up to now and he has since become widely known for. The role also earned him Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations in the Supporting Actor category. He also acted in the movies About Alex and Hello, My Name Is Doris.
