Biography:

Louisa Krause was born on May 20, 1986, in Falls Church, Virginia, U.S. Following her high school graduation, she trained at the Carnegie Mellon Drama School. She started her career by performing on Off-Broadway plays. In 2007, she made her movie debut in The Speed of Life. That same year, she had a supporting role as Brenda Woodberg in the independent film The Babysitters.

The following year, she made her first TV role in an episode of Law & Order, after which she appeared in the film Law & Order. In 2011, she had roles in the films Martha Marcy May Marlene and Return. Her first lead role was as the titular character in the 2012 film King Kelly. Subsequently, she had roles in the movies Bluebird, The Heart Machine, Bare, Ava’s Possessions, The Abandoned, Jane Wants a Boyfriend, Donald Cried, and Dog Eat Dog. She also starred as Anna Garner in the TV series The Girlfriend Experience.
