Nargis Fakhri may have been raised in the US, but it was in Bollywood that she rose as a star. She made her screen debut as a contestant on the show America’s Next Top Model. She found herself acting in India after posing for an Indian calendar. In 2011, she made her film debut in the Hindi feature Rockstar. She earned nominations for her debut, gaining her attention. In the next few years, she landed starring roles in Madras Cafe and Main Tera Hero. She also made special appearances in Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and Kick. In 2015, she made her Hollywood debut in Spy. Her first appearance in a Tamil movie was a special appearance in Saagasam.

The model-turned-actress knows how to take care of herself. Despite being in her late 30s, she still remains fit and slender. Though she has her genes to thank for, the actress also admits that her stunning figure is also due to her healthy eating habits. The US-born model-actress who’s found her luck in Bollywood acknowledges the importance of nutrition in maintaining one’s health and fitness. This is the reason why she remains fit all these years. Interestingly, the actress tried juice cleanse diet where she lost 3 kg in only six days for her role in Main Tera Hero.

But normally though, Nargis is a healthy eater. She concentrates on eating nutritious foods like fresh vegetables, bananas and eggs. She stays away from processed foods and those that contain high sugar. She also prefers cooking her own foods so she can personally choose healthy ingredients. She likes milk but she only drinks it in moderation. She also includes bread in her typical diet plan. For breakfast, she has 3 boiled eggs. For lunch, she has the following options: vegetable soup with salad; salmon fish with salad or mashed potatoes; a chicken sandwich. For dinner she eats melba toast or quinoa mixed with vegetables or sardines with onions.
