Biography:

Luke Evans was born on April 15, 1979 in Aberbargoed, Wales, United Kingdom. He started his career in stage acting, performing in many of London’s West End productions such as Rent, Miss Saigon, and Piaf.

In 2010, he made his breakthrough as Apollo in the remake of the Clash of the Titans. Following his film debut, he starred in other films such as Immortals, The Raven, and in the 2011 adaptation of The Three Musketeers.

He gained further prominence for his role as Owen Shaw in Fast & Furious 6, and as Bard the Bowman in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
