Joe Tippett is an American actor. In 2006, he made his acting debut in the romantic comedy film Gray Matters. After some years, he landed more consistent work on television, first appearing in an episode of Boardwalk Empire in 2011. He next made one-episode roles in The Blacklist and Chicago Justice. Tippett’s first starring role on TV was as Sam Strickland in Rise. After this, he appeared in the film Monsters and Men. He then portrayed Doolittle “Mooney” Lynn in the Lifetime movie Patsy & Loretta. That same time, he played Hal Jackson in some episodes of The Morning Show. His latest role is as John Ross in HBO’s new miniseries Mare of Easttown.
