After her first lead role in 2013’s Geethaanjali, she starred in another Malayalam movie, Ring Master. Subsequently, she made her Tamil debut in Idhu Enna Maayam and her first Telugu role in Nenu Sailaja. In 2018, her portrayal of Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati earned her critical acclaim. For her performance, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress. She recently starred in the Prime Video film Penguin and the Netflix movie Miss India.
