Superstar Katy Perry started singing in church as a little girl. With her conservative upbringing, she aspired to build a singing career in gospel music. By 2001, she release her debut album Katy Hudson. This proved to be unsuccessful. She decided to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue secular music. After being signed and dropped by a few labels, she was finally signed by Capitol Records in 2007. A year after that, the single “I Kissed a Girl” was released. This, as we all know, achieved international success. The album One of the Boys was then launched to commercial success. Her subsequent albums are Teenage Dream in 2010 and Prism in 2013. Perry’s most famous songs are “California Gurls”, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework”, and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”. Her latest hits are “Roar” and “Dark Horse”.

The singer is one of the celebs in Hollywood who takes the curvy figure into the next level. Known for her remarkable performances and sassy fashion sense, Katy Perry is definitely a force to reckon with. But being busy with her work and personal life, how does a superstar like her manage to stay healthy and stay in shape? Aside from eating healthy, Katy also works out. She understands the fact that eating healthy alone is not enough. She needs to be physically more active, too.

Generally for the celebrity, it is all about eating right, exercising, and even meditating. Interestingly, the pop star opts going out rather than staying at the gym for exercising. On the other hand, she still allots time to do workout routines designed by trainer Harley. She also keeps her stamina going by jumping rope. Her trainer said in an interview: “Katy aims to exercise five days a week, doing short, high-intensity workouts, including lunges and hip thrusts. These tone, as well as boost her metabolism, and can be done anywhere.”
