Hollywood star Rosie Perez had her career beginnings in the 1980s. In 1989, she made her screen debut in the film Do the Right Thing. She next had her first TV appearance in the television film Criminal Justice. She also guest-starred in an episode of 21 Jump Street. Shortly after, she appeared as a main cast member of the TV program In Living Color. She next gained recognition for her starring roles in such films as Night on Earth, White Men Can’t Jump, and Untamed Heart.

In 1993, she starred as Carla Rodrigo in the movie Fearless. For her performance, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globe and Academy Awards. She next had starring roles in the films It Could Happen to You, Somebody to Love, A Brother’s Kiss, Perdita Durango, and The 24 Hour Woman. In the 2000s, she starred in the movies King of the Jungle, Human Nature, Riding in Cars with Boys, The Take, and Pineapple Express.

From 2008 to 2009, she also became known for playing Dahlia Morales in Lipstick Jungle. Her prominence grew in the 2010s, appearing as a co-host in The View. She then had recurring roles in Search Party and Bounty Hunters. She recently starred as Tracey Wolfe in the musical drama series Rise. In the movies, her latest film roles include in The Dead Don’t Die and The Last Thing He Wanted. This 2020, she played Renee Montoya in the film Birds of Prey.

Apart from a clean diet plan, Rosie Perez stays fit and strong by living an active lifestyle. While following a consistent workout routine is a challenge, the actress tries her best squeeze some time in for exercising. She keeps her fitness regimen diverse to spice things up but most times, it’s a combination of cardio, strength training, and meditative workout like yoga.
