Kate Levering Diet Plan

Kate Levering

Hollywood actress Kate Levering got her start on the screen in the late 1990s. By the 2000s, she became more active. She made guest appearances on such TV shows as Witchblade and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2002, she made her movie debut in Martin and Lewis. Her first starring role came as Veronica Carter in the TV series Kevin Hill. She later made one-episode roles in such shows as CSI: Miami, Cold Case, and Las Vegas, among others. Afterward, she played recurring character Katherine Cutler in the show Cashmere Mafia. It was, however, her role as Kim Kaswell in the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva that gained her mainstream recognition. Simultaneously, she starred in the films Breaking the Girls and Chlorine. She’s also a prolific Broadway actress.

As a performer, Kate knows she needs to take care of her body and overall health and that’s something she can do by following a healthy diet plan. “Eating-wise, I’m fairly disciplined,” she said in an interview. She continued: “I have to be, because if you’re not eating correctly, you’re not giving your body the fuel it needs. So, I stay away from carbs after the morning and I eat a lot of protein—fish, chicken, and no red meat.”

She also shared about her eating habits when she’s performing. She explained: “It’s not easy since you have to think about what to eat, when, and how much. Also, I get sick to my stomach if I eat too close to show time, so maybe I’ll have coffee and a bagel or toast in the morning, maybe an egg, then a chicken wrap at 5 or 5:30, and if I get hungry after the show, I’ll have a hard-boiled egg or some sort of salad.” She also has a cheat day during Sundays in which she gives herself the chance to indulge. She said: “I deny myself nothing. If I want pasta, ice cream, pancakes—I eat it. Nutritionally, it’s good to shock the system, so it doesn’t get used to one thing.”
