Hollywood star Jes Macallan debuted in the 2008 film Ocean’s 7-11. She next had roles in the less known films One, Two, Many, Identity Crisis, Behaving Badly, and Hired Gun. In 2011, she began her career on television, during which she had guest appearances on Shameless, Justified, The Protector, and Grey’s Anatomy. She next had a role on the TV movie Crash & Burn and resumed on her one-episode stints on the small screen. During this period, she had roles on NCIS: Los Angeles and Femme Fatales.

Her breakout role came in 2013 as Josslyn Carver on the ABC series Mistresses. The show lasted four seasons with her playing the character until 2016. While on the show, she starred in the films Kiss Me and Thirst. She also guest-starred as Ashley Cole on the Fox series Red Band Society from 2014 to 2015. As of 2017, she stars as Ava Sharpe on The CW series Legends of Tomorrow. She started out as a recurring character in Season 3. She was then promoted as main cast in Season 4. Her latest film role was in 2017’s An Uncommon Grace.

The 36-year-old actress has a slender figure that she maintains by exercising and eating healthily. Proper nutrition is important when it comes to staying in shape so the actress makes sure that she eats well most of the time. While she was less cautious of her food consumption when she was younger, she now knows better than to make her health suffer by eating junk. For starters, she starts her day with a healthy breakfast. This means some eggs and fruits. She also likes whole grain oatmeal with fruits in it. For more protein, she has chicken for lunch and a serving of vegetables. She has the same thing for dinner. She also snacks on healthy foods that include yogurt, nuts, and fruits.
