Eric Johnson is a Canadian actor. He started acting professionally in the early 1990s. His first gig was in an episode of the TV series The Ray Bradbury Theater. In 1994, he played Brad Pitt’s character’s teen version in the movie Legends of the Fall. His first notable role was as Whitney Fordman on the American series Smallville, which he played in 2001. He later landed the lead on the short-lived series Flash Gordon, starring on the show in 2007. He next starred as Det. Luke Callaghan on the Canadian series Rookie Blue. He became further known for starring as Dr. Everett Gallinger on The Knick. More recently, he’s played Jack Hyde in Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. He also had a role in the recently released film A Simple Favor.
