Brendan Fraser

Brendan Fraser was born on December 3, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana, US. He attended the Upper Canada College in Toronto. It was while vacationing in London that he got into acting. He eventually graduated from the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle in 1990. His first screen work was in a brief reenactment on America’s Most Wanted. After making his film debut in Dogfight, he gained notice for his role in Encino Man.

The rest of the 1990s saw him act in the films School Ties, Airheads, The Scout, and The Twilight of the Golds. His first leading role was in George of the Jungle. He also starred in the fantasy-romantic comedy Blast from the Past.
His major breakthrough was in the 1999 film The Mummy, which was a box office hit. His played Rick O’Connell in the film, which he reprised in the sequels The Mummy Returns and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
