Biography:

Brandon Routh was born on October 9, 1979 in Norwalk, Iowa, USA. He was already working as a model and an actor while attending the University of Iowa. Though he decided to drop out after a year to focus on his career, which he initially started in the early 2000s with roles in Undressed, Gilmore Girls, and One Life to Live.

He rose to widespread recognition in 2006 after landing the role of Clark Kent / Superman in the movie Superman Returns. In the next few years, he acted in such films as Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. In the early 2010s, he played the recurring character of Daniel Shaw in Chuck. He next got a main role in the short-lived show Partners. As of 2014, he stars as Ray Palmer / The Atom in Arrow.
