Mark Rylance is an English actor. He started his television and film career in the 1980s. In the 1990s, he played John Healy in the film The Grass Arena, as well as starred as Ferdinand in Prospero’s Books. He later had roles in the 1995 films Institute Benjamenta, or This Dream People Call Human Life and Angels & Insects. During this period, he also played the title character in the TV movie King Henry V. The following decade, he portrayed Thomas Boleyn in the film The Other Boleyn Girl. At the same time, he played the title roles in Leonardo and Richard II. He later portrayed David Kelly in the TV movie The Government Inspector. His performance as Rudolf Abel in the film Bridge of Spies won him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He also starred in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.
