Biography:

Ana de la Reguera was born on April 8, 1977 in Veracruz, Mexico. She attended Instituto Veracruzano de Cultura where she started her performance arts studies.

Her acting career began when she starred in the telenovela Azul, followed by Pueblo chico, infierno grande, for which she was awarded the Heraldo Award for Best Female Acting. She then starred in her third telenovela, Desencuentro.

She gained wider recognition when she starred in the American-Mexican film Nacho Libre. She has since starred in other films including Cop Out and Cowboys & Aliens. She recently appeared as Vida in the series Eastbound & Down.
