Biography:

Isabella Gomez was born on February 9, 1998, in Medellín, Colombia. She started her career in the show business at age 5. During this period, she was first appearing in commercials in her native country. By the time she was 10, she and her family relocated to the US where she would later continue her acting career.

She made her television debut in 2014, playing the recurring role of Cristina Sandoval on the American series Matador. Afterward, she moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her career. She later landed a guest role in an episode of Modern Family. As of 2017, she stars as Elena Alvarez on the Netflix sitcom One Day at a Time.
