Alexa Davalos

Prior to her career on television and the big screen, Alexa Davalos first acted in the 2002 short film The Ghost of F. Scott Fitzgerald. It was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. That same year, she played a small role in the film Coastlines, starred in the pilot Untitled Secret Service Project, and guest-starred in Undeclared. Her first recurring role on television was as Gwen Raiden in Angel. In 2003, Davalos starred as Teddy Sampson alongside Antonio Banderas in the HBO film And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself.

She later starred opposite Vin Diesel in the sci-fi adventure film The Chronicles of Riddick. Her first regular role on the small screen was as Samantha Carlton in the Fox drama Reunion. After this, she starred in the television movie Surrender, Dorothy and guest-starred in an episode of Raines. At the same time, Davalos had performances in the films Feast of Love, The Mist, and Defiance.

In 2010, she portrayed Andromeda in the feature film Clash of the Titans. Later in 2013, she starred as Jasmine Fontaine in the short-lived program Mob City. Davalos’ big break came after landing the role of Juliana Crain in the Amazon Prime Video series The Man in the High Castle. She starred on the show between 2015 and 2019, getting her further attention. Afterward, she played Beth Quinn in 2 episodes of Netflix’s The Punisher.

Apart from following a healthy diet plan, Alexa Davalos also keeps herself in top shape with the workout routine she swears by. Getting physical for her role in The Chronicles of Riddick, the actress got into various kinds of training and has since learned to strengthen her body.

She did some ballet dancing and was a swimmer as a child but she’s never really gotten very physical. Her acting career changed that. As for the workout routine she continues to follow, she said: “I’m doing a bit of boxing here and there, which I did train with for the film and yoga to kind of counteract that. Just the little things here and there.”
