Vanessa Hudgens was born on December 14, 1988 in Salinas, California. She is best known for portraying the character Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series.

As an actress, she has appeared in numerous television shows including Quintuplets, Still Standing, Drake & Josh among others. Her screen debut was in the 2003 drama Thirteen. She got her first starring role as Tintin in Thunderbirds.

In 2009, she received critical acclaim for her role in the film Bandslam. She recently appeared in the 2013 film Spring Breakers, alongside Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and James Franco.
