Wendie Malick is an American actress. She had her career beginnings in the late 1970s. She debuted in the 1978 film How To Pick Up Girls. The following decade, she had roles in the movies A Little Sex and Scrooged. She also landed her first starring role on television — as Dr. Brigitte Blaine on the ABC series Trauma Center. She next played Claire in Kate & Allie and Gayle Buchannon in Baywatch. She gained wider recognition in the ’90s courtesy of her role as Judith Tupper Stone in TV show Dream On. During this period, she also had performances in the films The American President, Apollo 11, and Trojan War. From 1997-2003, she rose to wider fame for her role as Nina Van Horn in the NBC sitcom Just Shoot Me! After this, she played Ronee Lawrence in Frasier and Naomi Clark in Jake in Progress. From 2010-2015, she starred as Victoria Chase in Hot in Cleveland.
