Biography:

Surbhi Jyoti was born on 29 May 1988 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. She attended the Apeejay College of Fine Arts where she finished her Master’s degree in English. As an actress, she began working in regional theater. In 2010, she made her cinematic debut in the Punjabi film Ik Kudi Punjab Di. That same year, she also had her first television role in the Punjabi series Akiyaan To Door Jayen Na.

She next starred in the TV serial Kach Diyan Wanga, after which she became known for her starring performance in the soap opera Qubool Hai. The actress has also appeared in the Punjabi features Raula Pai Gaya and Munde Patiala De. From 2018 to 2019, she starred in the television series Naagin 3. She is set to make her Hindi debut in an upcoming Bollywood film.
