Biography:

Jimmy Fallon was born on September 19, 1974 in Bay Ridge, New York City, New York. At age 21, he left for Los Angeles to begin a career in comedy. In the late 1990s, his television career took off after becoming a cast member of the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. He was part of the program from 1998 to 2004.

After leaving, he started a career as a film actor, though he had initially made his debut in 2000’s Almost Famous as Dennis Hope. In 2004, he gained further fame as a movie star for his role as Det. Andrew “Andy” Washburn in Taxi, followed by his role as Ben Wrightman in Fever Pitch. From 2009 to 2014, he became known for hosting the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. As of 2014, he hosts The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he also serves as the writer and executive producer.
