In 2012, Hindi actress Sayani Gupta made her professional acting debut in the film Second Marriage Dot Com. Three years later, she landed parts in the films Margarita with a Straw and Parched. Gaining more notice, she successfully secured roles in several movies in the next couple of years.

She starred in such feature films as Fan, Baar Baar Dekho, Jolly LLB 2, The Hungry, and Jagga Jasoos. She also appeared in the movies Jab Harry Met Sejal and Fukrey Returns but her scenes were deleted in the final cut of the films. During this period, she ventured into small screen, getting the starring role of Rohini Raghavan in the Prime Video series Inside Edge, which she began playing in 2017.

At the same time, she played the titular character in the thriller web series Kaushiki. She also continued her film career with performances in Darkness Visible, Article 15, and Posham Pa. Recently, she starred in the movies Axone and Pagglait, which were both released on Netflix. As of 2019, she also stars in the web series Four More Shots Please!, which airs on Prime Video.

Sayani Gupta stays fit and healthy by following a clean diet plan and an active lifestyle. While she doesn’t believe in implementing strict diets, she eats nutritious foods to keep her body strong and healthy. As for her workout routine, she makes dedicated efforts to exercise on a regular basis. “I have a personal trainer who comes home. I work out three times a week for an hour each and focus on concentrated body weight training and cardio,” said the actress.

She also admits to skipping her exercise regimen if she’s too busy with shoots. “I have gone for weeks without exercise. But my metabolism thankfully is good and it doesn’t show much. But I do jump back into the workout schedule in off days,” she revealed.
