Lela Loren was born on May 7, 1980 in Sacramento, California, USA. In 2006, she made her debut in the independent film Between the Lines. That same year, she also appeared in her first TV role, guest-starring in Cold Case. She landed more guest appearances following her debut. In 2010, she made a notable guest appearance in Lost. She next played the role of Theresa Trujillo in the film The Reunion.

Her next movie role was in 2013’s Snitch where she played the part of Vanessa. Back on TV, her first starring role was as Francesca Rossi in the web series H+: The Digital Series, followed by a role in the TV movie Whisper of Fear. In 2014, she appeared as Silvia, a recurring character in the show Gang Related. More recently, she is best known for her role as Angela Valdes in the Starz series Power.
