Indian celebrity Richa Chadda started her acting career in the late 2000s. Her first movie role was in the Hindi movie Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. This was released in 2008. Her next film came in 2010 with Benny and Babloo. She played a supporting character in the said film. Two years later, she garnered mainstream prominence. This was all thanks to her supporting role in Gangs of Wasseypur. Her role was highly lauded that she got a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She has since starred in Shorts, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Tamanchey. She went on to make her international debut in the Indian-Mexican-American film Words with Gods. Her first leading role was in Masaan released in 2015.

The 30-year-old actress enjoys a promising career in Hindi cinema. She’s not only notable for her talent, she’s also remarkable for her raw beauty and lean figure. But the actress was not always confident. Though she felt good about herself when she was younger, this changed when she entered Bollywood. While pursuing an acting career, the actress admitted she struggled with bulimia after being asked to gain and then lose weight again. What’s more is that she was even asked to fix her nose and made her lips fuller and many more.

But it seems this dark phase in her career is over. She has acknowledged the problem and with this recognition it is easier to make the necessary changes. While she said that her bulimia made her unhealthy and sleep deprived, she’s trying to make it all up for the lost nutrition brought by the pressures of Bollywood. In fact, the actress is now following a special diet as part of her preparation for her upcoming movie Fukrey 2. Richa is actually a vegan, so most of her food supplues are from organic sources.
